5 Things To Do This Weekend
Here are a few handy things you can do this weekend to spruce up and give your environment a bit of a pick-me up.
1. Download this print and hang it on the wall
While perusing the ever-inspiring Poppytalk, I came across their free printables for these botanical prints! My favorite is Fig 2. These would look great as a collection, or just one or two. I think it might be time to change up some of my artwork!
2. Download a new wallpaper
Specifically one with bright and bold cacti. With a gray, winter sky, it’s nice to a have a pretty cactus to look at on your screen.
3. Find Yourself a Bar Cart - and Stock It
I’ve been thinking about bar carts a lot, and while a *cart* is not fitting anywhere in my teeny tiny apartment, I do have some extra shelf space that will be just as lovely. Elsie writes up an immensely helpful post on how to stock your cart.
4. Print out a 2014 calendar
This paper calendar changed my mind about paper calendars. I used to print out calendars religiously. Now everything is on gCal, but it’s so lovely it could sit right next to your desk to keep you company.
5. Make Tiny Envelopes
Now I finally have discovered the purpose for all of those interesting printed security envelopes. This tiny envelope tutorial shows you how to take your favorite mini envelope to make a pattern, so you can make little envelopes out of any paper. I love this!
