As a fervent lover of cats, I realized, I’ve never shown you my cat books. I find these little treasures at thrift stores or flea markets or the trash (!), and friends give them to me sometimes because I’m the first thing they think of when they see an old cat book lying in the trash on a NYC street. It takes work to be that person.

This is one of my favorites because it’s really well done! The photography, design, humor and earnestness make this one the best. Every time I look through here, I imagine an old man, lover of cats, flipping through the page and chuckling. “That cat wants a drink at the bar!”
